Can Dr. Kornbluh bill my insurance?
A receipt (called a ‘SuperBill’) will be available after the session. You may submit the superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement unless you intend to submit to MEDICARE/MEDI-CAL.
Medicare and Medi-Cal are currently not accepted in the practice. Insurance companies are not directly billed for services—although reasonable help obtaining reimbursement from your insurance company will be provided.
How does coordinating with other doctors work?
Dr. Kornbluh works with each patient’s care team, coordinating as necessary with psychologists/therapists, primary care physicians, and others to ensure that her patients receive the best possible care.
What happens at my first appointment?
It is important to know that your first appointment is a consultation, not the start of treatment. At that consultation, it will be determined whether treatment in Dr. Kornbluh’s practice is appropriate. If it is not determined appropriate, Dr. Kornbluh can provide a consultation report.
What kind of conditions does Dr. Kornbluh treat?
Dr. Kornbluh is experienced in managing a wide range of conditions, but commonly seen are depression, anxiety, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.

What are the various session fees and charges?
Initial Evaluation: $380.The time spent in an initial evaluation may vary. An initial meeting with Dr. Kornbluh will usually last between 45 to 50 minutes.
Follow-Up Appointment: (Approximately 20 minutes): $225
Urgent or Overbook Appointment: $225 If a prescription renewal appointment is needed, an urgent appointment can be made either in person or through telepsychiatry.
Incidental Charges: Urgent clinical telephone calls can lead to a charge of $50. Disability forms, insurance forms, prior authorization calls, letters and any other administrative actions on your behalf can be billed at a rate of $50 per 10 minutes.
A valid credit card will need to be kept on file and all charges will be made at the time of service.
